By train, by car, by bus or even walking the Cleveland Way, we are easy to find and centrally located in Scarborough's North Bay on the A165; the main road from Scarborough's town centre, and signposted to Whitby and the North Bay leisure parks.
From Scarborough's train station, is it a short walk, and down hill all the way. Exit the station and cross the road to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. Walk around to the front of the theatre and continue down North Way, past the Police Station. Continue down the hill across the two roundabouts until you get to the Baptist Church. We are directly opposite on the right-hand side of the road.
There is also a regular bus service from Leeds, York and Malton, the Yorkshire Coast liner, which stops just at the bottom of our road next to Peasholm Park. The Arriva bus service 93 and X93 is operated from Middlesbrough.

At Robyn's we aim to cater for the needs of all our guests, and will go the extra distance to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are situated on Columbus Ravine which is on the A165 in the North Bay close to Peasolme Park. The property is a three story Victorian house; therefore there are some restraints which will make access difficult for those with limited mobility.
We are located on a slight incline and have 6 rooms on two levels; unfortunately none of our rooms are suitable for wheelchair users because of the age and style of our house and for those with difficulty managing more than one set of normal house hold stairs please make us aware of this so we can ensure your room is on the first floor.
We are happy to provide that special gift for a loved one, for example, wine and flowers if celebrating something special, we are also happy to provide special dietary requirements for breakfast and we would recommend that you give us advance knowledge of these requirements so that we may ensure you are catered for.
We can accommodate dogs but only with prior arrangement, please be aware though, that all dogs must always be kept on a lead and not left in the room whilst you are out, they are also not allowed in the breakfast room at any time.
We also welcome bikers of all kinds, i.e. pedal power or motor power and can provide additional parking for bikes if required.
Walkers are also most welcome; the stunning Cleveland way is a very popular walk.
We do not accommodate stag, hen or large single sex parties, and hope all our guests treat all our other guests and our property with respect, we also operated a minimum number of nights stay policy over the weekend periods.
To ensure your accommodation is ready we ask that guests do not normally arrive before 2pm, and depart by 10am on the day of your departure, earlier arrival and departure may, however, be possible by prior arrangement. Parking for car is available on the main road in clearly marked areas and we do provide free of charge parking permits.
Before entering the guest house there are two steps up and we do offer assistance with luggage. The front door is always open however the inside front door is closed, please ring the bell on your arrival. Guests are provided with a full set of front door and room keys and are always escorted to their rooms and will have the facilities explained during your welcome.
The breakfast room is situated in front of you just off the hallway upon entry. If we are out at any time we have a 'how to contact us' message on the Kitchen door.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor, between 08:30 and 09:00 and a table service is offered.
There is no smoking throughout the premises, for guests who do smoke an ashtray is provided outside and we request that all smokers respect this and do not under any circumstance smoke in their rooms.
Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milks, sugar and biscuits are provided and replenished daily. We also provide a hairdryer; we provide liquid soap, shower gel-shampoo and hand towels and bath towels. A first aid kit is also available on request and we hope to never have need of it. There is also an iron and ironing board upon request. Wireless broadband is available.
We do not allow take-away food to be taken to any room.
We provide cotton bedding, and all pillows have cotton covers.
There is hanging room for clothes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets in each room, each room has an alarm clock, flat screen digital free view television.
There are fire extinguishers conveniently placed throughout the premises these are checked yearly and the fire alarm is checked weekly, in the event of a fire there is an alarm bell and emergency lighting.
Please advise us if you have a hearing impairment that might prevent you hearing these warnings. The primary evacuation route is via the front entrance/ door at the bottom of the main staircase and the meeting point is at the front of the guest house in the garden. All electrical appliances are PAT tested.
